As part of the kick off of Hispanic Heritage Month, Adrian Public Schools is partnering with the Adrian District Library. The special event that is planned is the community reading of the Spanish version of the new children's book Quack, Quack Quinceanera.
The book, written by Nick Rokicki and Joe Kelly, is set in Adrian and features artwork from APS students. The theme of the story weaves in important characteristics on the rich cultural heritage of Lenawee County's Hispanic population. The book will be read in Spanish by is translator Don Cellini and copies will be avaliable for purchase for $10 each.
The Reading will take place September 16th at 6pm in the Adrian District Library Downtown.
